Dogs come into the rescue for all kinds of reasons, from private homes as owners have died, relationships have broken down or circumstances have changed or as strays from the many council pounds up and down the country.
Many come to us that have been abused, we provide a safe haven for all the dogs in our care until they can find their new forever home to live their lives as they deserve, surrounded by love and affection. We receive no funding and we raise the money to pay the kennelling and vets bills ourselves through continually fundraising and from kind people that donate to the rescue. Average costs associated with rescuing a dog are; £7.50 per night for the rent of a kennel £25+ for a course of vaccinations £80+ for a spay or neuter £5+ for a microchip |
If you are interested in offering a home for one of our dogs then we would love to hear from you. Your location in the UK does not matter as long as you are willing to travel to where your chosen dog is to meet and take your new addition home. We do home check all of our homes and try to match the right dog to the right home. Like all rescues we do ask for a donation at the time of adoption, this helps towards the rescues costs and enables us to save another life.
Once you get your new family member home the support doesn’t stop there, we provide rescue back up for the lifetime of your dog. Any problems, let us know and we will do our best to help you resolve them by offering advice and guidance. In the event your circumstances change, we always take our dogs back into the care of the rescue. The majority of our dogs are kenneled and we currently use private boarding kennels in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. We also have a small but dedicated team of foster carers, so some of our dogs are lucky enough to move into a foster home whilst they wait their new permanent home. |
