Freddy
This is Freddy. He is 14 months old and is a Presa Canario (Mastiff group)
He is already a strong large dog and may still grow a bit more. Freddy obviously needs an owner that has large dog experience and has done research on the breed. Freddy can be dog reactive when out walking but because he's led a sheltered life he has things to learn and experience. He's a beautiful boy who needs to be in a home, learning about life. If you would like to express your interest in Freddy please complete our website online enquiry form.

Max
Max is a 12 year old Labrador cross who has come into our care through no fault of his own. He has settled in fine in a foster home and seems to be fit and healthy. He's up for many more lovely walks and is fine on the lead once over the initial excitement of going walkies. He walks past other dogs without much interest and has been out walking with other dogs and takes it in his stride. We will be in discussion with the vets to decide on neutering Max considering his age so will update you on that decision. Max will make a lovely companion for someone so if you would like to express your interest in the boy please complete our online enquiry form.
A recent update from Max's new foster carers -
Max has been with us for just over a week now so We have got to know him pretty well! His pulling on the lead has improved now as he walks on a halti but we have figured out he only really pulls on lead whilst walking on the road, once he’s in the field he’s absolutely fine. We went to dog fest on Sunday and he had a brilliant time, lots of attention and cuddles and he even got a new collar Max did great with all the dogs around so really has no issues there. What we have noticed is max is a ‘velcro dog’, he has to stick by you at all times, he does not like to be left at all, even if you’re going into the next room he has to be with you otherwise he will cry and bark. Given his background this is understandable, so now it really cements that Max will need someone who is home pretty much all the time and can really put in the work to help him with his separation anxiety. As mentioned before he can mouth at people with excitement so needs a home with children over the age of 12 at least or no children at all. Max is a really lovely dog who will make someone really happy. He is so loveable and full of character and is just a really sweet boy

Thelma and Louise
Thelma and Louise have arrived in our care and are already proving themselves to be really lovely dogs. They are Caucasian Shepherd girls and a bonded pair so we will try and re homed them together but feel free express your interest if you could only take the one and we can discuss this further. They are sisters and at only 9 months old they are already 35kg and will grow some more. They are both big, soft, friendly puppies who love a fuss and cuddles. We don't have any history on the girls so unfortunately couldn't re home them with younger children and they would need to go to a home where everyone has large dog experience. They haven't been fully dog tested as yet and we are not in a position to test them both with cats. They walk well together and we expect they will need a refresher course in general training during the family bonding period so if you would like to express an interest in Thelma and Louise please complete our enquiry form.
Blue
Say hello to Blue. Blue has recently come into our care after being found as a stray and not being claimed. He is a 6 year old Lurcher but being a stray we obviously have no history on the boy. It’s obvious he is a lovely dog and he even sits nicely for a photo. We could not re home Blue in a home with children under teen age due to the lack of history and we will post more information as we get to know him more but he is ready for rehoming now.

Zorro
Zorro is a 6 year old Shar Pei cross Labrador boy. He originally lacked in confidence and he hadn’t been walked much but his true character is showing now he has come out of his shell.
He has lived with cats, chickens and guinea pigs and doesn't seem to have any prey drive at all. He is reactive to other dogs, especially small energetic ones, so would need to be an only dog in the household. Zorro is fit and healthy.
He loves a good cuddle with his human friends and is a pleasantly affectionate boy.
He really loves his long walks and would be best suited in an active home. Zorro could be re homed in a adult only home. He loves his food and treats which will make any further training that much easier and fun.
If you are interested in adopting or would just like to meet him initially please complete our enquiry form

Bonnie
Bonnie is a 2 year old crossbreed who is always pleased to see you.
She is a fit and healthy young girl who is about Labrador height and a bit chunkier in build.
Bonnie is friendly and affectionate and loves human contact.
Being a youngster she is lively and would be best suited in an active home that has dog experience.
She knows some basic commands and is responsive to treats so they could be built upon during your initial bonding time. Bonnie is showing herself to be a lovely girl but is also sometimes showing her lack of socialisation with some other dogs in the kennels that have that same disadvantage; but being young this could be worked on with success at kennels and then in a home. We are not in a position to cat test Bonnie.
Currently we feel if children are in the home she would be best suited with teenagers or above due to her occasional excitement and jumping.
